Overview Of The Position

As the Supply Chain Manager at BizLink, you will lead and develop the supply chain team while developing and executing comprehensive global supply chain and strategic sourcing strategies. This is a hands-on leadership role crucial to managing our global supply base across direct and indirect materials, ensuring supply continuity, and optimizing inventory levels. You will work cross-functionally to support production planning and new product introductions, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement, all while maintaining strict adherence to corporate compliance and international trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the daily workflow of the supply chain department, including recruiting, developing, conducting one-on-ones, and managing the performance of team members.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to improve lead times, lower costs, and enhance overall product quality.
• Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies, assessing their performance to maintain highly cost-effective practices.
• Maintain supply continuity by ensuring timely issuance of POs, optimizing detailed material inventories, and implementing multi-sourcing or substitute material strategies to resolve supply gaps.
• Lead supplier relationship management (SRM) activities, utilizing scorecards, business reviews, forecasting, and developing new SRM tools to achieve key company objectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support production planning efforts, project requirements, and new product introductions (NPI).
• Establish and track performance metrics to evaluate supply chain efficiency, accurately balancing supply continuity with cost.
• Monitor global freight activity, including assisting freight forwarders with customs clearance and strictly following Export Control procedures.
• Ensure compliance by adhering to the BizLink Code of Conduct, updating practices per company policies/laws, following Document Procedures (DP) and Work Instructions (WI), and reporting risks over 50k Euro to the GRC Coordinator.
• Analyze and improve current inventories and procedures to proactively increase the overall efficiency and profitability of the supply chain.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• Work Experience: Proven background in Supply Chain Management with a strong foundation in sourcing and vendor management.
• Leadership Experience: Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities and experience managing and developing teams.
• Technical & IT Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office, with advanced MS Excel skills (specifically V-Lookups and Pivot Tables).
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
• Professional Competencies: In-depth market and production process knowledge, with expertise in material flow, FIFO, Kanban systems, and Value Management/Cost analysis.
• Methodological Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving techniques, proficiency in Kaizen (Production Productivity), and excellent time and self-management skills.
• Social Competencies: Highly effective communication and cooperation skills, with a proven ability to handle conflict and thrive in a team environment.
• Individual Competencies: Highly responsible, independent, and accurate; highly motivated to learn with a strong customer and quality orientation, and the maturity to constructively give and take criticism.
