Duties
- Provide attentive care to children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education, social skills, and emotional development
- Ensure the safety of all children by following health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary
- Support children's daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Manage behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences
- Collaborate with team members to plan educational programs that align with childhood development standards
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong understanding of toddler care and infant care routines
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to manage behavior positively while maintaining patience and empathy
- Demonstrated classroom experience or caregiving experience in early childhood settings
- Passion for nurturing children's growth through teaching and caregiving activities
