In your role, we expect you to:
BizFlow is seeking a Deltek Costpoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a short-term, high-impact project integrating Deltek Costpoint Procurement with a new workflow/UI-driven PR System. This role will provide critical advisory expertise during proposal development and hands-on guidance during implementation—helping government programs run smoothly by improving how procurement requests flow into Costpoint.

BizFlow is seeking a Deltek Costpoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a short-term, high-impact project integrating Deltek Costpoint Procurement with a new workflow/UI-driven PR System. This role will provide critical advisory expertise during proposal development and hands-on guidance during implementation—helping government programs run smoothly by improving how procurement requests flow into Costpoint.
Responsibilities:
- Review requirements and shape the integration design and approach.
- Define the process to move approved Purchase Requests seamlessly into Costpoint as Purchase Orders.
- Engineer methods for handling PR Modifications:
- Update existing POs with new values (funding, ceilings, line items) without creating duplicates.
- Extract historical PO data from Costpoint and convert it into historical PR data to be used in PR Modification
- Preserve historical records and audit trails for accountability.
- Develop methods to translate historical PO data into PR data for continuity in modification workflows.
- Configure synchronization of master data sets (projects, accounts, suppliers) from Costpoint to a system.
- Build validations that ensure external form entries comply with Costpoint rules before submission.
- Provide integration design patterns, examples, and technical reference material.
- Estimate Level of Effort (LoE) for different integration scenarios.
- Support the implementation team with advisory input and targeted integration assistance.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong expertise in Costpoint Procurement & PO modules.
- Knowledge of Schedule of Authorities setup across Costpoint.
- Hands-on experience with Costpoint integrations (SOAP, REST, Boomi, or similar middleware; Java preferred).
- Proven ability to update existing POs through PR modifications within Costpoint’s framework.
- Skills in extracting, mapping, and validating PR/PO and master data sets to support operational accuracy.
- Clear communication skills to support both proposal phase and technical delivery.
- Experience advising or consulting on Costpoint for federal procurement operations.
- Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS) as they apply to procurement system design.
- Prior experience integrating Costpoint with third-party workflow or low-code platforms.
- Strong background in data governance and audit support for procurement systems.
- Ability to mentor technical teams and transfer Costpoint integration knowledge effectively.
