Bizarre Coffee is a Coffee Shop Local Cafe coming to Downtown, Canton GA that specializes in making people's day, everyday. We do this by providing excellent freshly roasted coffee, hand crafted specialty drinks, made-to-order food, and extraordinary customer service in a space that is warm and welcoming to all. We are looking for amazing humans who are flexible, adaptable, coachable and eager to learn and looking to grow with us in our new location.

As a barista you will craft and serve a variety of specialty drinks such as lattes, traditional drinks, tea's and more! This will require you to know how to work a manual espresso machine and to dial in espresso multiple times per day. Barista responsibilities will include drink preparation, memorizing an extensive craft drink list, made-to-order drinks at a fast pace, washing dishes, managing inventory and keeping your station clean at all times. To be successful in this role, you should have strong communication and multi-tasking skills, work extremely well in a fast-paced environment and have general coffee shop, coffee and restaurant knowledge. You should be able to work 8 hour shifts, early mornings, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming customers into the space, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
• Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. dietary constraints, preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
• Preparing drinks that look beautiful within our time and appearance standards
• Make a variety of coffee drinks such specialty coffee drinks and traditional coffee drinks
• Cleaning, prepping and restocking station, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils
• Taking daily inventory and replenishing items for your station
• Always comply with health and safety regulations
• Have pride in making a consistent product every time
• Providing extraordinary experiences for both our guests and your team members
• Creating genuine connections with our customers

Requirements:

• At least (1) year of barista experience
• An ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to memorize lots of recipes
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations
• Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Training and willingness to continue learning about food, beverage coffee.
• Ability to lift 40lbs.
• Maintain a positive attitude and keep company standards
• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Multitasking and speed skills are a must.
• A desire to spread goodness to all people.
• High school diploma; relevant training is a plus
• ServSafe certificate is a major PLUS
