Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver products to various locations according to assigned routes
- Load and unload cargo using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring items are handled with care
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups
- Verify delivery contents against orders, complete necessary documentation, and obtain signatures when required
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety standards are met
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock movement, and organizing shipments when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving familiarity
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) or
driver certification is a plus - Experience operating box trucks or heavy vehicles with manual transmission
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving and heavy lifting safely
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and load/unload procedures
- Familiarity with route planning software or GPS navigation tools for efficient deliveries
