We invented the cyber ratings industry in 2011 Over 3000 customers trust Bitsight Over 750 teammates are dispersed throughout Boston, Raleigh, New York, Lisbon, Singapore, and remote Job Purpose: Sell BitSight Technologies' Benchmarking, 3rd Party Risk, and Merger and Acquisition SaaS solutions by maintaining and expanding the customer base. Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and hunt new accounts by planning and organizing daily schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors. Execute prospecting campaigns by aggressive customer outreach. Keep management informed by submitting results reports, weekly updates, and monthly and quarterly territory analyses. Careful and continual updating of appropriate Customer Resource Management (CRM) tools to include SalesForce.com Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. Submit orders following company policy. Recommend changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing responses, and making recommendations to management. Maintain professional and technical knowledge. Contribute to the sales team by collegial interaction with peers. Preferred Skills/Education: 1-2 years of successful closing experience as an inside sales professional. Extensive experience with the use of Salesforce.com or similar CRM for managing an inside sales team. The candidate’s inside sales experience should be specific to pursuing the sale of a technology-oriented product or service in a business-to-business setting. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills. Meeting/Exceeding Sales Quota Prospecting Campaigns Presentation Skills Performance Management Building Relationships Negotiation Results Driven Experience with multiple communications channels (e.g. web, social media, etc.) and how they can be combined and leveraged in a sales campaign is strongly preferred. Selling of SaaS in an inside sales model is strongly preferred. Security, Vendor Risk, or GRC sales management skills preferred. Belonging & Inclusion. This position may be considered a promotional opportunity pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is US$60,000 to $70,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Bitsight’s good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus or commission plan and an equity grant. Bitsight also offers a competitive benefits package, including but not but limited to medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid parental leave; flexible time off; a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities; life and disability insurance; and tuition reimbursement.
