Role: Database Architect (Expert Level)
Location: Albany, NY (50% Telecommuting allowed / min. 2 days on-site)
Duration: 30 Months | Full-Time (40 hrs/week)

Position Overview
Provide expert-level design and implementation of automation and data processing solutions (RPD/RPA or equivalent). You will oversee workflow orchestration, data ingestion, system integration, and performance optimization across complex enterprise databases and APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation & Integration: Design and build RPD/RPA-based data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines across enterprise databases, storage, and APIs.
- Architecture & Optimization: Maintain data quality, perform code reviews/refactoring, optimize workflows, and implement robust error handling, logging, and recovery protocols.
- Collaboration & Support: Partner with analysts and developers to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards; support end-to-end testing, debugging, and deployment.
Mandatory Requirements
- 84 Months: Designing and implementing enterprise automation (RPA/RPD) and reusable workflows.
- 84 Months: Analyzing business processes and translating requirements into technical automation architecture.
- 72 Months: Integrating automation solutions with databases, APIs, web services, and legacy platforms.
- 72 Months: Designing automation controls (exception handling, logging, monitoring, auditing, recovery).
- 60 Months: Developing data-processing solutions (ETL/ELT, data ingestion, data transformation, orchestration).
Preferred Qualifications
- 48 Months: Enterprise database design and modeling (conceptual, logical, physical, transactional, data warehousing).
- 36 Months: Technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentoring in a large/complex organization.
