What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time eCommerce Warehouse Associate position at Bitpro Consulting?
A local PC parts shop in East Setauket is looking for a reliable part-time assistant to help with production, shipping & receiving organization as well as general facility organization.
Duties include:
- Assisting the shipping department by picking inventory & prepping packaging materials
- Opening & organizing incoming packages
- Breaking down and cutting up cardboard and taking out garbage and recycling
- General shop cleanup and light organizing
- Assist with related production tasks as needed
Essential skills:
- Timely & dependable: Arrive on time, ready to work
- Able to work at a fast pace under time pressure
- Detail-oriented: able to complete tasks with multiple steps correctly & efficiently
- Comfortable doing hands-on cleanup and organizing work
- Able to lift and move up to 40 lb packages
Schedule:
- Business Hours: M-F, 9 AM- 5:30 PM.
- Working hours: Mon-Wed required, with potential for additional hours on weekdays.

No special experience required. Picking & packing experience preferred.
