To achieve the benefits of the role, you will:
1. Set annual sales goals, develop a sales pipeline, and work it.
2. Utilize an abundance of resources (mailers, newsletters, videos).
3. Cold call, introduce yourself, and land first appointments.
4. Complete a needs assessment and develop proposals.
5. Present solutions and win new business.
6. Effectively respond to objections raised by customers.
7. Engage state-of-the-art sales technology to manage the sales process.
8. Leverage support from licensed service staff to retain customers.
To grow as an insurance professional, you will:
1. Secure insurance licenses.
2. Earn advanced certifications.
3. Participate in mentor/coaching relationships.
4. Engage in relevant reading.
5. Attend professional conferences / gatherings.
Rewards:
- Base pay of $60K to $80K plus commissions. (Can vary depending upon experience.)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; stand; sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The position requires the employee to have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive a car.
