Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Manage customer transactions accurately, including processing cash, credit card payments, and handling cash register operations.
• Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction through suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing counters, utensils, kitchen equipment, and dining areas.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation tasks.
• Ensure timely delivery of orders, coordinate with kitchen staff, and manage food handling responsibilities with precision.

Requirements

• Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or square POS; retail math skills are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food safety management, and proper sanitation practices.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
• Experience with operating kitchen or café equipment is preferred; familiarity with grocery or retail environments is advantageous.
• Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
