Role Description:
- Receiving Inspection – Inspect all incoming product and document. If it’s a
part with dimensions, all dimensions should be checked, documented, signed
off on and taken to the next process it is ready for or put in Receiving Area. All
raw material certifications will be verified.
- In-Process Inspection – Audit all jobs running at a minimum of one time per
day and document.
- First Article Inspection – A first piece inspection will be done on all steps
(operations) as routed. These will be documented on the router or by the IPI
(in-process-inspection). First Articles are documented on all first run jobs per
AS9102 or per customer requirements at Final Inspection.
- Final Inspection – Documentation of all jobs per Bitec and customer
requirements at final inspection. Final inspection is the measurement of all
dimensions and verification of material and specifications to customer
requirements.
- Measuring Equipment – The Measuring Equipment Storage Cabinet needs
to be organized during free time. All gages MUST be signed out and in. All
gages should be verified for accuracy before use and calibration should be
verified.
- Calibration - Calibration of all equipment will be kept up to date. All new
employees’ tools will be calibrated upon hire and all new purchased tools will
be calibrated before use.
- Shipping – Quality will generate all shipping documents for customer
shipments. This includes packing slips, certificate of conformances, and any
other certifications requested by the customer.
- Organization – Organize office area and desk area daily. Surface plates
must be kept clean. Keep files neat and in an orderly fashion. All computers
should be shut down at night.
- Assignments – All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
