Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated QA Technician to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Reporting to the Lab. Manager, this position involves utilizing precision measuring instruments and adhering to established quality systems, including ASTM standards and Bitec test methods.

Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process compound, and finished products samples using precision measuring instruments such as thickness gage and Torsion machine.
- Perform line checks to ensure that manufactured products are within the set specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and tests results.
- Verifies product packaging and labels are correct during start-ups and changeovers.
- Ensure adherence to Bitec principles throughout the production process.
- Informs line supervisor or operator on any quality issues found during line checks.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug screening and background check.
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, including thickness gage, viscometer, penetrometer, torsion machine, UV microscope and other similar lab equipment. (Training will be provided.)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Must be able to understand and follow written work instructions.

Pay: $19.50 - $20.00 per hour
