Position Summary:
Our team is looking for an upbeat and dependable Clinical Assistant to help with clinical duties at our Frankfort office. Training will primarily occur in Frankfort. Once training is complete, this role will include working at both our Frankfort and Orland Park locations.
Experience with dental assisting is preferred but not required.
We are willing to train the right candidates that are motivated to become a pediatric dental assistant. Some of our best dental assistants have come from a paraprofessional, medical assistant, veterinary assistant, or other clinical healthcare assistant background. Coronal polish / sealant / scaling certified is plus but not required. We can help you obtain your certifications.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Assist the Doctors with various pediatric dental procedures.
- Maintain customer service and excellence.
- Obtain dental x-rays.
- Maintain suctions and cleaning vacuum traps.
- Maintain dental equipment and materials.
- Maintain operatories, sterilization and office.
- Help manage inventory/ordering.
- Follow OSHA protocol for cleaning operatories.
- Maintain a safe environment.
- General upkeep and cleaning of office.
Schedule:
- Full time (30-40 hours) preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
