Work Schedule-
- Flexible schedule within M-F 9am-6pm
- 12 Month Position
- Federal holidays observed which often involve three-day weekends

A Day in the life of a Behavior Technician (Registered)
Get ready to have some fun, be creative, and see your clients grow! Life as a Bista RBT is an adventure full of fun moments with clients & collaboration with your team. We provide services across multiple locations with the majority of time spent at a clinic.
Your day includes:
- Greeting clients & setting them up for success
- Set up opportunities for the client to learn through play
- Rotate centers around the clinic individually and with groups
- Collect data on skills you practice
- Build rapport with your client by being engaging and playful
- Collaborate with behavior analysts, occupational therapists, & speech therapists to deliver high quality treatment
- Documenting sessions
Your month includes:
- Meetings with clinical team members
- Staff Trainings & PDU opportunities

Working Environment and Physical Expectations:
Candidates should be comfortable supporting ABA therapy strategies under guidance of trained staff. This role is active and hands-on. Candidates should be able to stand, walk, possibly run and move throughout the day. Perform physical activities such as bending and lifting up to 50 pounds. All staff must be able to successfully complete a Human Performance Evaluation.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task
- Effective communication skills
- Desire to be an integral role in helping special needs children reach their fullest potential
- Ability to pass a Human Performance Evaluation
- Ability to pass QBS Safety Care crisis intervention training
Preferred Qualifications (but not required for hire):
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and maintains on a yearly basis with the BCBA (training will be provided if you do not have this certificate)
- Experience working with children of various age ranges
- Experience in behavior-based programming for individuals with Autism or other disabilities
