Job Description:
The International House of Tennis in San Antonio is seeking an energetic and knowledgeable Tennis Coach to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about teaching tennis, working with players of various skill levels, and creating a positive, encouraging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coach group tennis sessions during scheduled hours (4:30 PM–7:00 PM)
- Teach private tennis lessons (optional) at a rate of $50 per lesson
- Provide instruction on proper technique, footwork, rules, and strategy
- Create fun, structured, and engaging practice sessions
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all players
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff
- Set up and break down courts and equipment as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior tennis coaching experience required
- Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals and rules
- Ability to work with children, teens, and/or adults
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
