What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Bison Union Coffee Company?
Bison Union Coffee Company in Sheridan, WY is looking to add multiple baristas to our strong team. We believe in hard work, treating our customers like family, and remembering to have fun and enjoy life. We are located on 171 North Main Street. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, hard-working and a team player. The position will be available starting April 2026 and run through the summer or longer.

Responsibilities
- Receive orders, provide recommendations, prepare beverages and assist customers in purchasing coffee and apparel
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Follow health and safety guidelines Interact with customers regularly and professionally
- Stock inventory in front and back of house
- Create new drink specials
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a barista appreciated but not required
- High integrity with a great attendance record a must
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Understand and operate Square Point of Sale system
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently with a strong sense of urgency in an environment with continual noise (customers, music over cafe speakers, etc.)
