Bison Printing is seeking an experienced Production Equipment Operator to operate
industrial equipment used in the production of printed materials. Our operators are
generally cross-trained to run multiple types of production equipment rather than
specializing in a single machine.
This position is best suited for candidates with hands-on experience operating
machinery in a manufacturing or printing environment. This is not an entry-level
position.
Experience in commercial printing or print finishing is helpful, but we are also interested
in candidates with strong industrial machine operation experience from other
manufacturing environments.
We are looking for someone who wants a stable, long-term position and takes pride
in producing quality work.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and adjust industrial production equipment
- Follow job specifications and production schedules
- Monitor product quality to ensure it meets production specifications and make machine adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work with other production team members to meet deadlines
Qualifications (Required)
- Experience operating industrial or manufacturing equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow written job instructions and production specifications
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for extended periods
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience in the printing or print finishing industry
- Experience operating multiple types of production equipment
