The Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team at Bison Ford in Great Falls, MT.

In the role of Office Administrator, reporting to the Office Manager, you will support daily office operations with a focus on payroll, onboarding, benefits administration, and financial processes. This includes processing payroll accurately and on time, assisting with new employee onboarding, administering benefits, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and responding to employee and management inquiries.
You will be accountable for:
- Coordinating employee onboarding, ensuring timely completion of documentation, orientation, and system setup in compliance with employment requirements
- Administering employee benefits and pension programs, including enrollments, changes, terminations, reconciliations, and employee communications
- Processing bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for hourly, salaried, and commission employees in compliance with Montana state and U.S. federal regulations
- Reviewing payroll entries, validating registers, calculating deductions (including garnishments), and ensuring accuracy prior to submission
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies related to payroll, benefits, or employee records while maintaining confidentiality and compliance
- Managing accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P), ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions, reconciliations, and reporting
- Preparing payroll- and benefits-related year-end requirements, including reconciliations, filings, and reporting to government agencies
- Maintaining accurate and secure payroll, benefits, and personnel records in accordance with privacy and recordkeeping standards
- Generating and reconciling payroll and accounting reports to ensure data integrity and support management decision-making
- Responding to employee and management inquiries promptly and professionally
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall business operations
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of payroll processing experience; payroll or accounting education (or related experience) considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll practices, Montana state and federal tax laws, and regulatory requirements
- Experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS), ideally Dealertrack
- Familiarity with group benefits and pension administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability
- Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently and collaboratively as a team player
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
