Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote bilingual language skills in Spanish and English.
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching methods accordingly to meet individual learning needs.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages cultural exchange and respect among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum quality and integrate bilingual education best practices.
- Support students’ social-emotional development alongside academic instruction.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance data.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Languages, or related field; university experience preferred.
- Proven experience teaching or working with bilingual students or in a university setting is highly desirable.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Passion for education, cultural diversity, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
- Valid teaching certification or license relevant to the educational institution’s requirements is a plus but not mandatory.
