Job Summary

The On-Field Host will lead our game-day presentation. They will be responsible for engaging thousands of fans, hosting on-field contests, and working closely with the production team to ensure a seamless and entertaining fan experience. This isn't just a job; it’s a performance.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Live Hosting: Serve as the primary emcee for all home games, introducing players, hosting mid-inning promotions, and interviewing fans on the big screen.
• Crowd Engagement: Lead chants, dances, and rallies to maintain high energy levels regardless of the score.
• Script Execution: Work with the Director of Fun to review game scripts and ensure all sponsor activations and contests are executed accurately and enthusiastically.
• Improvisation: React to live game situations (rain delays, foul balls, etc.) with professionalism and humor to keep the crowd entertained.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with the Mascot, Promo Team, and Camera Crew to ensure all visual and audio elements sync up with the live action.
• Other Duties as Assigned: Contribute to the overall success of the organization in any capacity needed.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• The "It" Factor: A bold, outgoing personality with the ability to command a crowd of 2,000 people.
• Public Speaking: Excellent vocal projection and clarity; experience in theater, broadcasting, or stand-up comedy is a major plus.
• Adaptability: Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced, unpredictable live sports environment.
• Availability: Must be available for all home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the Summer season.
