Bismarck High School is seeking qualified applicants for the position of an Assistant Girls Golf Coach. The assistant coach will work collaboratively with the head coach to support all aspects of the girls golf program and help provide a positive educational and athletic experience for student-athletes.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with the planning and implementation of practices and training sessions.
- Teaching and developing golf skills, sportsmanship, teamwork, and character.
- Supporting student-athlete growth both on and off the course.
- Assisting with meet preparation, supervision, and travel responsibilities.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Communicating effectively with student-athletes, parents, school personnel, and community members.
- Supporting the mission and expectations of Bismarck High School and Bismarck Public Schools.
- Completing all required district and NDHSAA coaching certifications and trainings.
Qualifications:
- Previous coaching and/or playing experience in golf is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with high school-aged student-athletes.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and educational athletic environment.
Please note - Coaches who hold a ND teaching license - wages are reportable to the North Dakota Teacher's Fund for Retirement (TFFR). The employee (coach) will contribute 11.75% of their salary and the District will contribute 12.75%.
