Job Description Role: Maintenance Manager Job Summary: This role is critical for ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient plant operations. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leadership within the maintenance team, strategic planning, reliability, safety culture, cost control, and continuous improvement. Participating as a member of Plant Leadership Team. Supervising plant maintenance organization including a Maintenance Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor, Planner/Scheduler, and Inventory Coordinator Coordinators. Managing the plant maintenance program based on best practices, emphasizing effective planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance. Planning, coordinating and prioritizing maintenance requirements in conjunction with operations departments to obtain minimum cost and high reliability. Ensuring maintenance mechanics are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that maintenance procedures are accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner. Communicating regularly with all maintenance team, both individually and as a group, to ensure two-way information flow. Conducting employee performance feedback based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance team. Maintaining and updates operating and training manuals for the maintenance department and supports mechanic skill development. Utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment. Relying on Supervisors and Planners for day-to-day operations. Qualifications 8 years progressive industrial manufacturing leadership experience Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent time and project management, organizational, production planning, scheduling, and analytical skills Hands on experience working with a Computerized Maintenance System and preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance programs Experience with advanced maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, thermal, oil analysis etc.) and wear components an asset Demonstrated initiative and proven record of taking on projects in a proactive manner to reach strategic outcomes Established PC & software skills in Microsoft Office applications Experience with process safety management and creating a culture where all accidents are preventable Highly developed communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, mentoring and people management skills Proven ability to build morale, lead change and continually improve the performance of the team Note: This role is not remote and will require relocation to Bismarck, Missouri #LI-BS1 #LI-RA1 Benefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
