Job description:
Golf Course & Grounds Maintenance
Duties involve all aspects of maintaining golf course grounds such as:
- Participate in daily routine maintenance of cart path edges, tree rings, landscape areas, etc.
- Participate in the completion of special projects around the golf courses such as tree trimming, vegetation removal, landscape installation, reconstruction projects, etc.
- Assist in the performance of cultural practices such as greens aerification, topdressing, etc.
- Assist in general clean-up around the golf courses, maintenance facility, housing, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks using light equipment such as string trimmers, edgers, pruners, hedge trimmers, etc.
- Operate green, tee, fairway and rough mowers.
- Perform other general labor and maintenance duties as directed.
- Work closely with the golf course superintendent to ensure that the expected quality of the clubhouse grounds is being maintained.
- Must be able to work weekends.
