Audio/Visual Technician Journeyman
Description
Bishop & Company is seeking an Audio/Visual Technician Journeyman to support the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (PHNSY) in Pearl Harbor, HI. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio and visual equipment for various events and installations. Responsibilities:
Install and configure Audio/Visual (A/V) equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, video screens, lighting systems, and control consoles, for events, conferences, and installations.
Operate and monitor A/V equipment during live events to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on A/V equipment to ensure reliability and longevity.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime during events.
Work closely with clients to understand their A/V needs and provide technical support and recommendations.
Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance schedules, and event setups.
Provide training to clients and team members on the proper use and maintenance of A/V equipment.
Requirements:
CompTIA Security
2-5 years experience with setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of A/V equipment used in conference rooms.
Familiarity with A/V control systems and software.
Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for large screen display monitors.
ServiceNow ticket management experience preferred.
High school diploma
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
This position may require occasional night, weekend or holiday support
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Candidates must be eligible for a background investigation.
Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $70K-$90K. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
