Full-Time School Counselor
Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington, VA has an immediate opening for a full-time school counselor. Applicants must have a Masters Degree in School Counseling or a closely related area with a Virginia professional license in school counseling or the ability to attain this license in the near future. School counselors in the Diocese of Arlington are required to be practicing Catholics, dedicated to serving and supporting students in their development of the whole person. Responsibilities include helping students in the areas of academic achievement, emotional/social development, college readiness and career development. Candidates with a college counseling background are strongly encouraged to apply. The candidate should have knowledge of using data in a comprehensive school counseling program, work well in a team, and have a desire for continued professional development.
