Part Time Activity Aide
24 hours per week
Shift may vary: 12-830p , 3p-9p, 10a-3p, 9a-4p
must be available for every other weekend and holidays as needed
Duties:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with aging issues
- Plan and organize and carry out daily social/diversional activity events and daily schedules for residents
- Lead group activities and social events to promote engagement and socialization
- Assist in coordinating or providing transportation for residents activity events or outings
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and progress
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of aging issues and counseling techniques
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
