Responsibilities Include:
- Developing a positive, joyful, welcoming, and supportive classroom environment.
- Contributing in a positive way to the school environment;
- Planning and implementing effective and engaging curriculum, instruction, assessment, and classroom management for assigned classes based upon the USCCB frameworks;
- Fulfilling other duties as assigned;
- Professional conduct and adherence to all school and Diocesan policies and procedure;
- Works cooperatively with colleagues;
- Work well in a 1:1/blended learning environment;
- Strong Catholic role model for students and be a resource for other curricular areas regarding Church teachings.
Requirements:
- Complete the diocesan Theology teacher application and interview proces
- Registered, active Catholic
- Willing to obtain a Masters in Theology, if one is not currently held
