What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Bed Operator position at Bishop Lifting Products Inc?

Job Purpose:
Testing of new and existing product to ensure that rate of capacity can be achieved without causing damage, deformation or permanent distortion to different products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct load testing on any products as required such as wire ropes, synthetic slings, etc.
- Input of necessary product information for creation of test certifications;
- Perform other functions as required.
Job Requirements:
- Must maintain a safe, clean workspace.
- Must have capacity to keep up with demand and schedule of customer needs.
- High attention to detail and safety
- Must be able to diagnose problems with fabrication and recommend repairs as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check.
