Job Purpose:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will assist in the day-to-day operations of shipping and receiving products and inventory in order to maintain customer satisfaction and standards. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Pulling stock items for sales orders, staging orders for will call, ensuring local delivery and commercial carrier pick up
• Identify and count inbound purchase orders
• Unload/Load trucks upon delivery/receiving
• Assist in load testing as needed
• Pulling orders for shipping & delivery
• Assisting in inventory control, counts, reorganizations, etc.
• Operation of forklift
• Working with ERP system regarding inventory and order management
• Palletizing and prepping products for shipment
• Making deliveries to customers when needed, as well as pickups.
• Perform other functions as required

Job Requirements:

• At least one year of forklift experience preferred
• At least one year of shipping & receiving experience preferred in a fast-paced industrial/manufacturing environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently or with a team and meet deadlines as needed 
• Strong computer competency
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• High priority for organization skills
• Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
