Job Purpose: The Chain Grinder will operate machinery, including polishing and grinding equipment, to grind any metal workpieces to their prescribed specifications to ensure high-quality products.
Job Duties:
- Produce Rip chains for stock for customer (for milling slabs)
- Cut rolls of chains to customers desired specifications
- Sharpen chains from 1/4 pitch to 3/4" chains
- Straightening homeowner to harvester bars
- Replace bar tips and grind
- Make new chains for walk in and call in customers
Job Requirements:
- Maintain a clean, safe working space.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions, whether working with a team or without supervision.
