As a key member of the Office of Charitable Giving and Communications, you’ll play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and growing fundraising initiatives that sustain and expand Bishop Gadsden’s charitable mission.
Fundraising, Events & Donor Engagement
- Lead signature fundraising events including the Donor Gala, Annual Giving Kickoff, and Board Dinners
- Manage donor-centric events that strengthen relationships and inspire giving
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities through grants, sponsorships, and philanthropic partnerships
- Coordinate biannual service projects that engage residents and team members
- Support and guide multiple Charitable Mission Committees (Annual Giving, Events, Scholarships, Volunteerism, and more)
- Manage team member scholarship programs and internal giving initiatives such as Shining Star, food, and toy drives
- Partner with Communications to create compelling fundraising materials and donor recognition
- Support donor and resident communications and stewardship efforts
- Collaborate cross-departmentally, including with mission-based retail, to grow charitable revenue
What we Need In A Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of related nonprofit experience preferred
- Strong background in fundraising, advancement, or philanthropic programs
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (mail merges, reports, letters)
- Solid understanding of basic accounting and fiscal responsibility
- Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders (residents, donors, leadership, staff)
- Experience with data analytics and reporting in a nonprofit environment
- Event planning and committee management experience
- Professional presence aligned with Bishop Gadsden standards
