You’ll manage a small team of Activity Assistants and work closely with interdisciplinary staff to ensure every resident feels engaged, valued, and connected.

What You’ll Do
- Create & Lead Programs: Plan and implement a variety of recreational, therapeutic, and social activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
- Resident-Centered Planning: Conduct regular assessments to personalize activities and ensure inclusivity for all cognitive and physical levels.
- Special Events & Outings: Organize memorable events, holiday celebrations, and outings—yes, you’ll even drive our residents to fun destinations!
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with nursing, therapy, and social services to align activities with residents’ care plans.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with older adults in long-term care
- Previous experience in activity programming
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, internet)
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
- A service-minded individual who finds joy in helping others
