We’re seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Culinary Services to oversee all aspects of food service for residents, guests, and staff in our healthcare community. This is a leadership role for someone passionate about quality, innovation, and creating exceptional dining experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement strategic goals, policies, and procedures for culinary operations.
- Manage budgets and ensure compliance with CMS guidelines.
- Lead and mentor a team including managers, supervisors, and chefs.
- Maintain high standards for nutrition, food quality, and service.
- Collaborate across departments and serve on key committees.
- Drive staff development and engagement through training and motivational programs.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s in Business or Hospitality Management (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 5 years in Culinary Services leadership within long-term care or CCRC.
- Advanced certifications (CDM, CFPP) preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.
