Bishop & Company is seeking an HR & Payroll Administrative Assistant for an investment firm in Honolulu. This role will be to support the firm’s Human Resources and Payroll teams and provide critical administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within both functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Payroll Specialist with payroll-related administrative tasks
- Perform accurate data entry into ADP Workforce Now
- Prepare payroll calculation worksheets and assist with payroll audits (payroll support for up to 600 employees)
- Monitor and manage the HR mailbox, forwarding inquiries to the appropriate team members
- Send birthday greetings via email and assist with internal HR communications
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Human Resources and/or payroll support required
- Basic HR ideal
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Information:
- Job Type: Temporary Opportunity through June with possible extension
- Pay: $20-$25/hr DOE
- Location: Honolulu,96813
- Parking: not provided, however close parking for $14/day
