Description:
The Sales Representative is responsible for building and managing relationships with dealers, builders, remodelers, and design studios. This role focuses on increasing product awareness, driving revenue growth, and providing world-class customer support. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, knowledgeable in the cabinetry or building-materials industry, and comfortable selling within a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, target, and onboard new cabinetry dealers, builders, contractors and design partners.
- Grow revenue within an assigned territory by expanding product penetration and securing new accounts.
- Conduct product presentations, showroom trainings, and sales meetings with partners.
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and follow-ups to close deals.
Account Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide product knowledge, installation guidance, 2020 design support and service support as needed.
- Communicate lead times, pricing updates, promotions, and new product releases.
Territory & Pipeline Management
- Track opportunities and forecast sales.
- Maintain an organized weekly schedule of dealer visits, jobsite meetings, and business development activities.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to support strategic planning.
Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams including inside sales, logistics, and operations to ensure timely deliveries and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with marketing to support events, trade shows, and promotional campaigns.
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales; cabinet, building materials, or home-improvement sales preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to read kitchen layouts, cabinet plans, and construction documents (or willingness to learn)
- Knowledge with 2020 design program (or willingness to learn)
- Self-motivated with excellent time-management and territory-planning abilities.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within assigned territory.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer tools (Excel, email, word).
