About the Position
Bless Innovative Solutions (BIS) is seeking an experienced Vehicle Painter to join our team in Salisbury, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing, priming, painting, and finishing commercial vehicles and equipment while maintaining high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, masking, and cleaning.
- Mix and match paint colors to manufacturer specifications.
- Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray equipment.
- Repair paint imperfections and perform touch-up work as needed.
- Inspect completed work to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Maintain paint equipment, spray guns, and work area.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience painting vehicles, trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, or commercial equipment is required.
- Experience using spray guns, paint booths, and automotive paint systems.
- Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
