Position Summary:
Birmingham Public Schools is seeking a qualified and passionate ASD Adult Transition Specialist Education Long Term Substitute Teacher to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as they prepare for successful postsecondary outcomes. This position focuses on transition-aged students (18–26), emphasizing independence, employment, community integration, and adult living skills in alignment with the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE) and IDEA.
