Store Assistant Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY: Delivery and pick-up of equipment, parts and materials as requested, light building maintenance and janitorial work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver parts and equipment to customers and vendors as directed.
• Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors as coordinated through Parts Manager.
• Provide assistance to all departments as needed.
• Ensure all paperwork is done accurately, timely and efficiently.
• Clean and maintain vehicle used for deliveries.
• Wash and clean machinery as assigned.
• Assists in maintaining shop area in an organized and clean manner.
• Communicate vendor or customer requests and concerns to management.
• Responsible for the upkeep of the facility location, including mowing, spraying, and general upkeep.
• Light janitorial duties as assigned.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

• Ensure every customer is satisfied with the products, services, and support of all staff.
• Resolve customer's concerns efficiently and effectively.
• Promote a positive attitude at all times.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Individual must possess high school diploma or equivalent. They must be able to set work priorities and work independently, understand and carryout oral and written directions and can maintain high degree of motivation in team members to retain focus to provide highest level of customer satisfaction. They should have some experience with general handyman duties such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.

• Ability to get around the dealership and grounds for various tasks.
• The employee would normally lift or move 10 lbs., frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to tolerate up and down movement with bending or stooping including reaching above and below shoulder height with arms and hands.
• Ability to be on one's feet for extended periods of time.
• Ability to operate equipment or other power equipment, as necessary.
• Must meet health assessment requirements.
