$35.00 hr. to start, up to 10 -12 hours a week.
Birdsign Consulting LLC provides professional services to a variety of clients. We specialize in grant writing and food systems projects. Birdsign’s mission is to collaborate with those driven by social justice to build healthy communities and financially stable organizations. Birdsign Consulting LLC is looking for a dependable person with an eye for detail. We seek employees who can work independently and enjoy working on a team. This remote position is part-time, with a work schedule set collaboratively by the employee and business owner.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• researching grant criteria and determining client fit for applications.
• drafting answers to grant proposal questions.
• collaborating with clients to prepare and submit applications.
• attending team meetings, client meetings, and grant information sessions.
• note taking.
• logging grant data into a database.
• tracking and organizing grant related tasks.
• researching and creating grant landscapes.
• drafting grant reporting answers.
• assisting with Birdsign projects as they arise, may include facilitation, evaluation, developing reporting and evaluation measures, and other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong time management and attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Excel at grant research and writing.
Experience collaborating with clients or stakeholders.
Experience facilitating group processes.
Able to take direction and follow through.
Must have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a car for occasional travel.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must have a computer with camera and microphone, and reliable internet access.
Familiarity with G Suite, Adobe, and Microsoft applications - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Zoom, Airtable, Canva.
Bilingual/Bicultural English/Spanish preferred.
Social services and/or food system experience preferred.
