Birdi Systems, Inc. (BSI) is seeking highly skilled Lenel Certified Expert (LCE) Technicians to support a large-scale access control program at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). This is a hands-on, on-site role supporting mission-critical security infrastructure in a dynamic aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Lenel OnGuard Access Control Systems (version 8.2 or higher)
- Provide advanced-level technical support for access control hardware and software
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and database maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve system issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and airport stakeholders
- Document system configurations, maintenance activities, and service reports
- Support integration with CCTV, intrusion detection, and other security platforms
Required Qualifications:
- Lenel Certified Expert (LCE) certification (REQUIRED – must be current)
- Hands-on experience with Lenel OnGuard 8.2 or higher
- Strong troubleshooting and system integration experience in access control environments
- Ability to work on-site 40 hours per week at SFO
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting aviation, transportation, government, or high-security environments
- Prior experience acting as a technical lead or mentoring junior technicians
- Additional manufacturer certifications in:
- Access Control Systems
- CCTV / Video Management Systems
- Intrusion Detection Systems
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport/security badging
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks as required for secure environments
