Electrical Project Manager

Birdi Systems, Inc. (BSI) is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead complex electrical construction and infrastructure projects across large-scale commercial, transportation, and critical infrastructure environments.

We are looking for a hands-on construction leader with strong field experience, proven project management capabilities, and the ability to drive projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can effectively manage field operations, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage electrical construction projects from kickoff through completion
• Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, procurement, and execution
• Lead field teams performing conduit installation, wire pulling, power distribution, and system installation
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and other trades
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, daily reports, and project documentation
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and California building codes
• Conduct QA/QC inspections, testing, and project closeout activities
• Support material planning, equipment logistics, and workforce coordination
• Provide regular project updates to internal leadership and clients

What You Bring:

• 5–10 years of electrical construction project management experience
• Strong electrical field/construction background
• Experience managing active job sites and field crews
• Knowledge of:
• Power distribution systems
• EMT, RMC, GRC, and PVC conduit installation
• Underground and above-ceiling conduit systems
• Electrical construction best practices and safety standards
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Journeyman or Master Electrician certification preferred
• Experience with aviation, transportation, infrastructure, or government projects
• Familiarity with low-voltage systems, BMS, or SCADA systems
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management tools
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred
