Position Overview
Birdhouse Brewing Company is seeking a Cook / Kitchen Team Member to join our kitchen staff and work alongside our Head Chef, Dylan.
We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. This role includes food preparation, line cooking, maintaining cleanliness standards, and supporting kitchen operations during regular service and special events.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, and plating
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory
- Support kitchen operations during busy service periods and special events
- Work efficiently as part of a team to ensure timely food service
- Assist with kitchen cleaning and closing duties
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation practices, or willingness to learn
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members
