Farm Equipment Operator
We are looking for an individual that has experience operating Heavy Equipment, the farm supplier has various types of Farm Equipment some equipped with GPS & Precision Technology.
Are you have are currently working for a Landscape or manual labor career and looking for an opportunity to operate large agricultural equipment. This opportunity has internal career growth opportunities into sales and operations roles.
CDL is not required, but will need to be obtained after starting full time. Cost of CDL is covered by employer. Employer will also cover cost of any Agricultural Certifications the Farm Equipment Operator may desire to help increase their pay (CCA, Pesticide License, HAZMAT).
Military veteran friendly employer! Any experience in the military operating / maintaining heavy equipment would be great, but if you're willing to learn and interested in a career in Agriculture, please inquire!
Seasonal Workload:
Winter Months :
- Full Time Pay with Flex Schedule, Opportunity to gain Certifications and continued educational.
- Equipment Inspections, Major Repairs completed by Dealership. Minor repairs in house
- Clean, Lubricating, and Prepping for Spring Use
Spring Months:
- Operating Sprayer for Pre- Plant and Post Application
Summer Months:
- Final Sprayer Application Passes
- Fall Equipment Prep
Fall Months:
- Harvest Operations, Fertilizer Spreading/Lime Spreading/Sprayer operations
- Clean Equipment and Park for Winter
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
