What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Member position at BIRDCODE Chicken?

As a Team Member, you’ll be cross-trained throughout the restaurant and play an important role in delivering the BIRDCODE experience every shift.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver friendly, energetic, and caring hospitality to every guest
- Take accurate orders and help guests navigate our menu
- Prepare and serve food according to BIRDCODE recipes and quality standards
- Work multiple stations including register, expo, food preparation, cooking, dining room, and more
- Verify orders for accuracy before they reach the guest
- Keep your station clean, stocked, organized, and ready for service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, labeling, temperature, and FIFO standards
- Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking responsibilities
- Support your teammates wherever needed to help win the shift
- Participate in team huddles, training, and station development
- Follow direction from Shift Leaders and Operators
- Bring a positive attitude, accept coaching, and continue developing your skills

What We’re Looking For
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Previous restaurant or quick-service experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Dependable and ready to work at your scheduled start time
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and move throughout the restaurant
- Comfortable working around restaurant equipment and varying temperatures
