Overview
Bird Roofing & Construction is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee day-of roof installation operations. This role is boots-on-the-ground and crucial to ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality roof installs. As the on-site point of contact, you’ll support the crew, manage materials and setup, and ensure each job is documented and completed to company standards.
Duties
● Pick up and deliver supplies or materials as needed to keep the crew running efficiently
● Provide food and drinks for install crews to support productivity and morale
● Set up and tear down The Catch-All System or other jobsite protection measures
● Photograph each phase of the roofing project (before, during, and after installation) for documentation and quality control
● Assist with jobsite preparation and cleanup to ensure a safe and organized work area
● Communicate with the office team regarding job progress, issues, and completion updates
● Be a point of contact for homeowners or crew on the day of the install to help address questions or concerns
● Ensure install crews have what they need to stay on schedule and complete the job efficiently
● Support final jobsite walk-through and checklist completion to ensure nothing is missed as well as clean up
Experience
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, pick up truck is preferable
● Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work on/around job sites
● Strong time management and communication skills
● Self-starter with a “get it done” attitude
● Experience in roofing, construction, or project support preferred (not required—training available)
● Must be organized, dependable, and customer-service minded

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
