We are seeking a Heavy Equipment/Truck Mechanic to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on construction equipment & trucks at various work sites and company shop.
- Inspect equipment for faulty parts.
- Analyze and diagnose mechanical issues.
- Create a plan of action for all repairs.
- Follow checklists and protocols while conducting repairs.
- Track and maintain all maintenance data & records.
- Follow all health and safety laws and guidelines as well as common-sense safety practices.
- Maintain a safe, organized and tidy workspace.
- Applicant is expected to work on several different and demanding tasks that require substantial effort and commitment.
- Must have 3 - 5 years experience working on heavy trucks/equipment gas & diesel engines.
- Must have own tools.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Self motivated.
- Strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to perform the physical requirements of the position.
