Birchwood Events Assistant / Reservationist
This position will be responsible for assisting with group & private dining reservations, restaurant reservations, promoting the restaurant through your contacts as well as building new relationships with outside businesses, organizations, associations, event planners, etc.
Events Assistant will work to ensure excellent events and client satisfaction by communicating and coordinating with clients and providing event support to the Events / Banquets team.
Essential Functions :
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Assisting Coordinators and ensuring that they are setup for success.
Answering inquires, responding to booking requests, and answering guest’s questions in a timely fashion.
Making reservations and ensuring that reservations are properly accommodated.
Contacting, booking and following up with guests interested in hosting a special event or guests who are interested in booking with The Birchwood.
Following large party procedures, prices, policies and other special details as it pertains to the needs of the event.
Resolving customer concerns quickly, efficiently, and courteously
Professionalism and Style Expectations :
