The Registered Nurse plays a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of residents by coordinating and overseeing their care needs. This role partners closely with the Executive Director and care teams to ensure a safe, welcoming, and supportive community. As an advocate for residents and their families, the RN provides clinical guidance, helps educate residents on their care options, and supports a smooth transition for those considering or moving into the community.
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify residents’ health status and care needs.

Develop, update, and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Coordinate, oversee, and evaluate the delivery of nursing services and clinical treatments.

Serve as a key liaison among residents, families, and external healthcare providers to support clear and consistent communication.

Monitor resident conditions, administer medications, and provide necessary clinical interventions.

Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, clinical standards, and organizational policies.

Complete accurate and timely documentation and reporting.

Participate in care conferences and share updates on resident progress and care plans.

Provide guidance, supervision, and support to nursing and caregiving staff.

Train and mentor new and existing team members as needed.

Respond promptly to emergencies and deliver appropriate immediate care.

Demonstrate strong knowledge and skills in supporting residents with memory loss.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support resident care and community operations.
