ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Manages payroll process that includes importing, proofing, editing, and processing all payroll
state wage and hour laws.
- Performs payroll-related functions including but not limited to: processing new hires,
filing completed payroll summaries and submitting wage garnishments to the HRIS team or
other system-based tasks.
- Stays current on changes in federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure compliance
company policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains accurate payroll records while ensuring communication internally with post-payroll
- Manages 401K plan administration including associate enrollments, deferment files, funding,
- Participates and assists with the Annual Performance Appraisal process.
- Responds to routine payroll inquiries such as wage garnishments, fringe benefits, direct
- Assists with initial hiring/associate onboarding tasks, including but not limited to I-9
- Periodically participates in associate relations discussions or investigations.
- May assist with recruitment, including review of applications, conducting phone screens to
- Gather and analyze data with useful payroll metrics and provide accompanying solutions or
- Responsible for ensuring associates are on-boarded and off-boarded seamlessly and
- Prepare and submit year end checklist, W-2s, and other required reports.
