Hardscape Team Member Summary:
As a Hardscape Team Member, you will support the installation of hardscape projects under the direction of a Hardscape Foreman. In this role, you will assist with building patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor living features while maintaining a safe and efficient job site. This position is ideal for someone with foundational hardscape experience who is eager to learn, grow their skills, and develop into a future crew leader or foreman.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces
- Perform site preparation including grading, excavation, and material handling
- Support the setup and cleanup of job sites to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Operate hand tools and basic equipment used in hardscape and landscaping work
- Follow direction from the Hardscape Foreman to complete projects efficiently and to quality standards
- Assist with measuring, leveling, and laying materials such as pavers, stone, and block
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Support general landscaping tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- 1 year of hardscape or landscaping experience required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Basic knowledge of hardscape installation techniques preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Interest in developing skills and growing into a foreman or leadership role
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Work Environment
- This role requires working outdoors on active job sites in varying weather conditions.
- Work involves physical labor, use of tools and equipment, and collaboration with a crew.
